Join us in Montréal on April 17-20, 2010, for the Seventeenth Annual
Cognitive Neuroscience Society Meeting

Dust off those passports and get ready for a fantastic meeting in Montréal! For the first time ever we are headed out of the United States. Thank you to all of the Canadians who have been attending CNS meetings for the last 16 years in the U.S. It is now our pleasure to visit Canada. The 17th Annual Cognitive Neuroscience Meeting will be held April 17-20, 2010, in Montréal, Canada, at the Hilton Bonaventure Hotel.

Situated in downtown Montréal, the Hilton Bonaventure lies in close proximity to the best of what Montréal has to offer. Stroll along cobblestone streets in Old Montréal along the St. Lawrence River as you experience a bit of Europe in North America, or explore the shops and cafes of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Saint-Denis Street. Montréal is also home to breathtaking Mont Royal, the Montréal Biodome, numerous museums and galleries, and the Montréal Casino.

Convention activities will begin on Saturday, April 17th, with slide and poster sessions. In addition to the regular symposia, slide, and poster sessions, the annual George A. Miller Lecture will be Sunday evening, followed by a reception. We will also be awarding two new Young Investigator Awards followed by talks given by the winners. The 4-day program will continue with a host of symposia, poster sessions, invited addressees, publisher exhibits, and special events. This year we will also have a talk from the NIH regarding funding opportunities, research resources, and/or research priorities.

Please note that, although we will be in Canada, CNS will be doing business in U.S. currency. So, if you plan to pay CNS for items such as registration or membership, you must do so using U.S. dollars, checks drawn on a U.S. bank, or Visa or MasterCard. Sorry, we cannot take American Express or Discover cards.

So get out your passport (and make sure it's current), as you will need it to attend this year's meeting. We look forward to seeing you in Montréal for another exciting event!
